want to know who you are dealing with. So ...
My wife and I have been happily married for 25 years and we live in a rural community in East Central
Illinois, USA. I am 50(something) years old. I am a high school graduate with only 1 semester of college
education. Everything I know about computers and the Internet is self-taught (which is to say - there is
still a lot that I don't know, but am eager to learn).
I was a ballroom dance teacher for 14 years. I have worked many various jobs, including dish-washer,
construction laborer, gas station pump jockey, tax preparer, office worker, factory assembly line, lawn
care, Beginner's Internet class teacher, mall Santa, freelance professional photographer, and more ...
(I'm sure that I have left some things out). Of all the things that I have done, the most satisfying and
rewarding has always involved teaching - I feel really good about showing people how to do things.
The foundation of my "dealings" with everyone is the "Golden Rule" - "Do unto others as you would have
others do unto you". I want to be treated with respect, honesty, and dignity so that is how I will treat
you.
I have come to believe that the Internet and the global availability of information that it enables is
quite possibly the most profound technological advance in my lifetime. And this adventure is my chance to
share some of the excitement I feel about the Internet with YOU.
