The Power Of Ideas
Some Fuzzy Logic By Will Dugan
October 25, 2004
Ideas are truly awe-inspiring concepts. Think about it. We have the capacity, as human beings, to create
something with the power of our minds! Somehow, within the gray matter we call our brain, each and every
individual is able to create an intangible "thing". That is amazing. An idea does not have to be an original,
"never-before-thought-of" creation in order for it to be yours and yours alone. But once created, a good
idea will never be yours alone. This idea, this concept, this mental creation, this "thing" is sometimes
rather inconsequential. But sometimes it can take on a power beyond description, beyond understanding; it
can bring about world-changing events. Wow! It boggles my mind.
I have a theory about thoughts and ideas that I would like to explain. First off, I must admit - I am not
a scientist, a doctor, or a biologist; I only have a vague notion of the physical process that takes place
in our brain. But that doesn't stop me from thinking, and it doesn't stop me from formulating my very own
theories!
My theory is this: a thought or an idea creates a cosmic energy. This energy is in the form of a vibration
that emanates from the mind. This energy vibration is not always powerful, but it has the capacity to be
very potent indeed. When we think, our brain sends out these vibrations. The vibrations will have a
particular wavelength that is dependent on many factors.
You may have heard the saying, "we are on the same wavelength". Or perhaps you have even said yourself,
"we think alike". I'm sure that you have heard of "love at first sight". These are all verbal expressions
that indicate that my theory is held to be true by a great many people, even if they describe it differently.
Our brains, and the thoughts and emotions that we have, are capable of communicating even if we do not speak.
The energy we create with our thought processes is released into the ether where ...? Well, a lot of things
can happen as a result of the ideas that we have. One of the things that can happen is that ideas of a
similar or compatible wavelength can combine to make a more powerful force.
I recently set an idea free. I believe that it is a good idea. I have already seen evidence that other minds
are thinking along the same lines as me in this regard. I am hoping and praying that our mind's energy will
combine to create a force for change.
